“ Each time I've been here I've only had the best service. I'm not sure on how other reviews are going against this location but I've been happy every time! The staff is always friendly and quick for my order. I've even gotten extra chicken for some orders and it makes me happy they have done that! It's fast food but this location does it right. The food is always hot and fresh. If asked for extra salsa they give a good amount in a bag. Happy enough for me to keep going back. ”
“ The cooks and staff were ON POINT!!! My first time at this location and my pollo bowl was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly and the condiments were FRESH. What a pick-me-up during lunch. I'll definitely be back! Caution with the drive-thru...it's VERY narrow! ”
“ El Pollo Loco started 1975 in Sinaloa, Mexico and now has over 400 restaurants in the U.S. Pretty impressive to expand out as much as they have and I get it; the food is good and convenient. THE FOODS | Mexican cuisine, most notably known for their citrus marinated, fire-grilled chicken. And while I normally order their chicken with an obscene amount of side dishes and salsas (looking at you, avocado salsa), this time around, we decided to try something different... - Shredded Beef Burrito Griller | Sonoran-style flour tortilla filled with beef, jack cheese, cilantro, and onion. Surprisingly, the beef is juicy and tender; if it's always made this way, I've been missing out! It comes with Loco Dipping Sauce made up of birria consommé and warm queso; its flavor seems similar to enchilada sauce. Overall, a delightfully pleasing burrito. - Fire-Grilled Chicken Burrito Griller | Sonoran-style flour tortilla with fire-grilled chicken, jack cheese, cilantro, and onion. The chicken is dry and lacks flavor, which is another surprise because their chicken is usually the opposite. Thank you, no thank you. - Chips & Guacamole | Tortilla chips have a light crunch. The guacamole is fresh with a thick consistency. THE ORDERING LOGISTICS | Ordered through their app and picked up at the store. WOULD I COME BACK? | Sure, their chicken is tasty and now I'm a fan of their shredded beef. ”
“ El polo loco is always the bomb. I love this place and i love the convenience of the family meals. The chicken is so good and salty. It's not the most top notch meal it's basically fast food but probably the best fast food out there. Always hits the spot ”
“ My husband and I get El Pollo on a weekly basis (sometimes more than once a week), mainly because one is super close by and it *feels* healthier than other fast food options (and because I am a BRC connoisseur). I had unfortunately been SO let down by our usual El Pollo location in Aliso Viejo...with their inedible scorched chicken, or cold chicken, or small and sad chicken, or messed up orders every single time (we are too hopeful for change and never learn!). ANYWAYS, we happened to be in Mission Viejo, and I honestly forgot how wonderful El Pollo is when the chicken is freshly cooked and the orders are actually correct! I happily noticed that this location actually had a ton of chicken on the grill instead of sad, old pieces piled up on the side of the grill (what a concept)! The man taking our order was also very friendly, which was also a pleasant surprise. My chicken plate was very tasty and my husband's taco plate was also made perfectly! We may just have to start making the trek out to this spot to get our weekly fix, because it was so worth it. ”
